Drinking water,
Eating food,
Sleeping


These are probably the most important elements of human life. The scarcity of even one is a recipe for disaster to our bodies. But have you ever wondered what happens if we intake one of these in excess? 

Drinking too much water causes overhydration and leads to cramps, weakness, nausea or vomiting, and many more things. Eating too much food leads to acidity, weight gain and even increases the risk of cancer. Similarly, sleeping too much cause muscles pain, tiredness, and heart disease.

So, from the above paragraph, it's fair enough to conclude that doing too much of even the best things can lead to so many problems. It's important to keep an eye out for ourselves if we are doing something in excess. After all, it takes a genius to know when to stop.

Therefore, "Balance" or keeping things in the right proportion is so important. there are some activities that with time becomes easy to overdo. "Overeating" and "Oversleeping" are two of such activities that we can easily overdo in current times. 

I tend to oversleep during winters, not necessarily because I am sleepy but because it's so cold outside that it becomes very difficult to kick myself out of blankets. What follows is a complete day of body pain and guilt. I would love for your suggestion to help out with this situation.

  1. I can relate to oversleeping during winters. It essentially makes a person lazy, and you just don't want to leave the warm comfort of your blanket.
